Future of Everything Apple

Not many people have been pleased with Apple over the last few years. In fact, you could find that some would say the company hasn’t been the same since the death of Steve Jobs back on October.05 in 2011.

When Apple brought out the iPhone XR, they thought that they found the answer to what consumers wanted in an affordable iPhone. There are many reasons why this product didn’t sell even though it has a more “affordable price.” Apple cut a lot of corners in modern expectations with consumer in order to obtain the pricing. One of the main things they did was throw on a LCD, 326 ppi (pixels per inch) display which is really outdated technology. Sales did not even come close to what they were expecting and because of that the company is looking to have a HUGE comeback year in 2019.

There is a lot that I hope we see from Apple this year as there is a lot they need to catch up on. A huge amount of Apple rumours are flying everywhere as they always are, but today I want to focus on the most important things we can expect from Apple. They need to play catch up with a lot but I think that the most important thing they need to focus on is their iMac and Mac Pro line up. Both of these products are extremely outdated in almost every way: processors, storage options, GPUs, displays. Yes, their displays are high resolution with good colours and brightness levels; however, they main thing they are lacking is an almost besselless display. Personally I thought that a company like Apple would have been the first to introduce these displays to ALL their product lines. As it stands the only products that current have this display are the iPhone line up and the new iPad Pros. When they finally bring these displays to their Mac line up, it will peek consumer interest again. There will most likely be internal updates once Intel brings out their 9th Gen cpu’s.

Even though I feel the most important update we will see in 2019 is the iMac, we are bound to see many others. Some other products we can expect to see this year is: the second generation of AirPods, Updated MacBook Pros, and of course updated iPhones. I do predict we will also see a new product consumers have had their eyes on since 2017: the Airpower wireless charger.

Who can ever be certain on what we will see beyond what the rumours tell us. One thing you can be certain of is that Apple has ALOT of catching up to do.
